The CIPS website is our face to the world and provides anyone who has interest in plasma physics or CIPS with information on who we are and what we do.  Our web traffic has tripled in the past three years and receives a wide variety of visitors from all over the world.

About half the visitors type in a url or have our site bookmarked.  Roughly 10% of visitors are directed to us through Physics or LASP, and the other 40% find us via google.

Who Visits the Site
78% of visitors are from the United States, about half of whom look at the site in Boulder.
The other 22% of visitors come from France, Italy, Germany, India, Korea, and other countries.

Popular Pages
Aside from the home page, the research portal that links to the group sites is the most frequently accessed page.  This is followed in popularity by the online personnel directory and a list of the plasma-related physics courses available.
