How to make a reservation

  1. In order to make a reservation you can do one of following:
    1. You can be a part of the calendar group and add/edit the event yourself. To be a part of the group, send an e-mail to asking for permission to be a part of the group. Either Victoria Johnston or Jeannie Nguyen will add you to the group and you will receive an invitation e-mail to the calendar. You will need to make a Google Account in order to be a member. See below for other instructions.
    2. You can send an e-mail to and ask for a reservation time. Be sure to include the date, the time, and the name of your event.

How to login to the calendar group

  1. Once you are a member, log in to your google acount at
  2. In the top navigation, click the "more" tab and select "Calendar."

How to add an event

  1. Log into your Google account
  2. Click the "Create Event" button on the top left of Google Calendar.
  3. Fill in the date, starting time, end time, etc. Please make your event "Public," that way others can view it on the calendar as non-members. You can also set the event to be a recurring event, set reminders and notifications via e-mail, text message, or a pop-up message on your computer (though this one only works if Google calendar is currently open on your computer).
  4. Click "Save."
  5. You can also use the Quick Add feature. This allows you to select the day and specific time on the calendar directly and add the basic information of the event (you can edit the event at any time).

How to delete an event

  1. Log into your Google account
  2. Select the event on the calendar.
  3. At the top, click the "Delete" button
  4. If this is a recurring event, you can either delete just the specific event or all of the events to follow.
